About Lodge 17

The Maryland Troopers Association organized in 1979 to promote professionalism in law enforcement and establish constructive channels of dialogue. To manage regional needs effectively, the MTA established local Lodges.

Lodge 17 serves as the local hub for Troopers assigned to or retired from the Eastern Shore region, specifically covering the counties of Kent, Talbot, Queen Anne, Dorchester, and Caroline. We hold local meetings to gather input, organize regional community events, and handle issues unique to our communities.
